Beach has received many honors since its opening in 1999. It was recently awarded
a five-star rating by Golf Digest, the only course on the Grand Strand and one
of just seventeen in the United States to receive that perfect rating. In an
effort to continuously improve the facility, the owners developed a plan to renovate
the greens and green side bunkers, along with many improvements to the clubhouse.
