MYRTLE BEACH GOLF COURSE NEWS AND REVIEWS
THE AVERAGE JOE REVIEWS THE DYE CLUB
A few days ago the Average Joe foursome played the Dye Club at Barefoot Resort. For those of you who aren’t familiar with North Myrtle Beach and “Barefoot” just find route 17 and head towards Barefoot Landing, The House of Blues, The Alabama Theater, Greg Normans’ Restaurant or any of the other attractions in the area that are familiar. AVERAGE JOE REVIEWS OYSTER BAY GOLF LINKS
Just a bit north from the North Myrtle Beach area is the home of Oyster Bay Golf Links. The course is fair to the average golfer, where accurate shots can be as rewarding as long boomers. Bermuda grass is the choice for greens and fairways and the course winds along open marshes, lakes and through lush forests. In addition to the unique oyster shell landscaping, Oyster Bay offers several island greens. REVIEW or PHOTO GALLERY
WILD WING AVOCET IS A COURSE IN FULL FLIGHT
When three-time major champion Larry Nelson and Jeff Brauer opened the Avocet Course at Wild Wing in 1993, the layout was met with universal praise. More impressive than the initial plaudits is the way the design has withstood the test of time. REVIEW or PHOTO GALLERY
