New Greens at TPC of Myrtle Beach

TPC of Myrtle Beach has received many honors since its opening in 1999. It was recently awarded a five-star rating by Golf Digest, the only course on the Grand Strand and one of just seventeen in the United States to receive that perfect rating. In an effort to continuously improve the facility, the owners developed a plan to renovate the greens and greenside bunkers, along with many improvements to the clubhouse.

TPC of Myrtle Beach reopened this fall with new putting surfaces on all 18 greens and the short-game practice areas. The very latest strain of MiniVerde Ultradwarf was grown in to perfection. This MiniVerde is the same type of grass that the PGA TOUR used in its renovation of the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass.

In addition to the new greens, all of the greenside bunkers were completely shelled out and more than 100,000 cubic yards of white sand were added. The clubhouse was repainted and many small, detailed projects were completed over the summer.

The TPC course winds through a forest of Carolina Pines, natural wetlands and streams. You’ll see and be surrounded by an abundance of Lowcountry grasses, plants and wildlife that are native to the area.

The TPC of Myrtle Beach welcomes golfers of all skill levels to challenge this professional-quality course. Designed by acclaimed architect Tom Fazio, the layout offers five sets of tees, often raised to afford entire-hole views, that help guests play the right yardage for their games and have a completely enjoyable round.

The par-72 TPC course has a wide variety of challenging holes. The par threes are some of the very best on the beach and our signature hole, the par-three 17th, is one of the most picturesque in the Myrtle Beach area.

Once you’ve journeyed through this amazing golf course, treat yourself to a seat on our back porch that overlooks the 18th green. Our TPC Grille offers guests breakfast and lunch. We have a full-service bar and we provide catering services. The locker rooms are available to our guests and the pro shop, which has also won many awards, is stocked with logo shirts, hats and other gifts that will help you remember your day at the TPC of Myrtle Beach.
